QBM again

Today was boring.

Hence, I took a stroll in QBM. As expected, I stopped at Borders. Discovered that Starbuck's Caffe Mocha is a better drink than Caffe Latte. Maybe I should try the Caramel Macchiato next. Anyway, I left soon thereafter with a copy of John W. Dower's Embracing Defeat - Japan in the Wake of World War II. Sounds promising after the first chapter.

Being still early, I trudged over to Foto President to watch ckvin in action. Today is a busy day for him. Being the printing guy, and a Sunday; he had tons of prints to make. What surprised me was that he actually had to go through each and every one of the few hundred to correct the exposure and color balance. Auto correction mucks up everything. And lets just say Fuji's software and his workstation isn't anything to shout about. I do not envy his job. But the Frontier makes sweet prints.
